What is the Snap Reserve? The Snap Reserve is the amount of space that is reserved for snapshots. This is a percentage of the total volume size. The default is 5%. This means that if you have a 100GB volume, 5GB is reserved for snapshots. This is space that is not available for normal data storage.

Changing the Snap Reserve on an Aggregate cannot be done using Filer View but must be done using the CLI:
